Mark Garvey is an artist that makes music, films and multimedia messes. Mark is the very definition of DIY: a one-man band/army creating everything entirely solo in a shed. Stuffed in the obvious “grunge revival” pigeon-hole, and slapped with the easy catchall “alternative rock” label, Mark’s songs range from trying to bring down the entire system by furiously screaming about the world’s injustices, to philosophically reflecting on the existential tragedy of contemporary life while sipping an overpriced oat milk latte ... and everything else in between. A prolific monomaniac with an unconventional against-the-grain singer/songwriter ethos, Mark absurdly makes his music exclusively in Adobe Premiere Pro video editing software. Mark’s songs are not just for your ears, as each is accompanied by videos and a tonne of artwork to expand the music beyond your headphones and into a much wider - and infinitely more interesting - universe for you to explore.
